This Panel Van is Phil’s 2nd project. Right hand drive Volkswagen collector Phil found this ’67 Yanase RHD slider model. Phil want to make copy of Mooneyes Equipped Van. Original Mooneyes Equipped Van we made around 1993, so we ask to Mooneyes about this project. Mooneyes told me his private collection is ok to built. We start to body work but Panel van had lot’s of rust, cut rear wells and other problems so we did too many work about it. After finished body & paint we installed original style interior, Speedmaster wheels. For the Mooneyes logos and pinstripe doing The Wildman Ishii Mooneyes same as original Mooneyes Equipped Van. Finished Mooneyes Equipped brother , we show up Yokohama Hot Rod Show. After show we shipped to Phil’s home town England. This project feature on Street VWs magazine. We lost pictures of body work, paint and put back together so we use only daily topics pictures and Dai Katsumura gave us his pictures.
